Don't worry, everyone that has been active in the last month has given Contributor status. The message is mainly for new people, and those that have been away for more than a month that I may have missed. If you can edit a page that isn't a talk page, upload a file, or basically do anything other than read stories and edit talk pages, you should have contributor status. (Though I haven't tested to see that normal users have been properly nerfed. I need a volunteer to temporarily go down to user status and try some things first.
