A voice rings out in the minds of every human on earth in a language they can somehow understand, "Congratulations Humanity, You have been granted Weekly Wishes. Every week on Saturday at 00:01 UTC a random member of humanity shall be granted a single wish"
Confusion and fear were the main responses to this. A few smart individuals looked at the time. Friday, 23:59 GMT.
Moments later the voice rang out again, "And we have a winner. This week's wish is to lower the worldwide age of consent to 5-years-old. There will be a brief moment of discomfort as social and legal norms are updated. Thank you for participating, and we look forward to next week's wish."
Every human on Earth felt a moment of blinding pain just behind their eyes. The pain lasted less than a second before vanishing as if it had never happened.
The first thoughts of most of humanity were about the age of consent. Everyone now knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the age of consent was 5. Memories of it being some age in the mid to late teens existed, but no one could say why those ages were any better than 5. This caused worldwide confusion and panic.

Mechanically, this means that everyone knows and accepts 5 to be old enough to have sex. Most people are a little leery of this, They remember that the age of consent was higher, but not the exact age. No physical document can tell them what it was, because every single piece of paper in the world with that information now says 5. The consensus that most people on social media have come to is that the age of consent used to be 12. The reasoning here is that a lot of people remember having sex in high school, or wanting to have sex at that age.
This wish does not change any preferences that people have. Some categories of pedophile were effectively "cured" by this wish, if only because their preference is now socially acceptable. Most of these people have figured out that the age of consent was much higher than 12. The smart ones say nothing.
