It had been a tumultuous week.
Seven separate religious wars and uprisings had kicked off. Religious leaders called it a sign of the Apocalypse or a sign from God or Satan. The Arabic world mostly declared the voice to be that of an evil jinn released upon the world, although different sects of Islam disagreed on specifics. Large swaths of people swamped churches, while others abandoned their faith. A very vocal community had gained access to quite a bit of TV air time claiming it was all aliens, and then arguing over what type of aliens they were.
A true tragedy was the thousands killed during the week. Most died due to the chaos or through suicide, but many died on that first night due to accidents caused by distraction due to the voice or moment of pain that followed.
That said, there was an extreme rise in the amount of adult/teen sex in the world with a smaller rise in the amount of adult/preteen and teen/preteen sex. Rates of teen/teen and preteen/preteen sex saw no appreciable change.
Most major governments urged calm while launching massive investigations to find the source of the wishes and the person who made the first wish. These efforts were completely in vain, but many were used to crack down on unwanted ethnicities or minorities.
This was the setting when at 23:59 UTC Saturday night, the voice rang out, "Hello Humanity, has everyone thought up a good wish this week? I hope it's a good one. Hmmm. This week's winner is; All human females will now give birth safely regardless of age. What a wonderful wish. Alright, see you next week. I hope the next wish is just as good."
The voice faded from the minds of humanity. Women giving birth around the world sighed in relief as the babies seemed to deliver themselves. Every birth became complication free and every baby was born alive and healthy.
As the news spread, people of the world were mostly happy, but many waited for the other shoe to drop.
Mechanically, this means that all women now have perfect pregnancies. It also means that for women to give birth safely regardless of age, they must be able to get pregnant regardless of age. This will not be discovered for a couple of months as reproductive organs are started ahead of schedule or restarted as the case may be. Anything that might cause issues with pregnancies has been eliminated or cured, this includes things like birth defects, genetic issues, and anything that causes miscarriages. Pregnant women are also now much less likely to get into accidents or be harmed by environmental factors that could harm the child and prevent a safe birth.
