Whodunnit/Home/Ana
Ana was probably the best choice to play with. Peter probably doesn't feel like playing with a little girl right now, and Willy can get kind of mean with his pranks. You quickly head up the stairs to her room.
While you are heading there, you start to wonder what you should play with each other. Maybe Ana would like to play 'house' together. You have lots of dolls you brought with you from your old home, and Ana probably has a few herself. You've played it with your old friends before, but this will be the first time you get to play it with someone younger than you. Hmm, does that mean you have to be the 'daddy'? Usually you are the 'mommy' or the 'baby' all the times you've played before. You are still thinking about it, when you look up and realize that you have arrived at Ana's room.
Her door is open, and you can see her on the floor, with several dolls in a circle around her. This looks promising, maybe she'll let you join in. Being an only child, you've never had to worry about little things like 'privacy' or 'knocking.' Without any hesitation, you step inside and call to her, "Hey, can I play too?"
Ana jumps when she hears your voice behind her. After she turns and sees you standing there, she quickly gets up and hides behind her bed. Aww, it looks like she's still shy around you. She does look cute though, almost like a small animal, as she peeks her head up from her hiding place.
"Ana, let's play together, okay?" You repeat your question as you drop down to the floor, and begin scooting over to where she is. You move slowly, trying not to spook her, until you finally reach the edge of the bed. From there, you peer across the sheets to the little eyes staring back at you, trying to make yourself as non-threatening as possible.
For a long time, the two of you just look at each other across the bed, until finally you see Ana nod and say, "Okay."
Yes, so far so good! Hopefully the two of you will be close friends by the end of the day. While you resist giving yourself a fist pump, Ana interrupts your victory celebration. "What do you want to play?"
You smile at her and then look around her room. Her dolls are still scattered on the floor, maybe you could continue playing 'house' with her. Next, your eyes travel to her toy chest, and you spy a small bag on top with something not quite tucked all the way in. You realize it's a doctor's bag, with the plastic stethoscope still hanging out. Oh, maybe Ana would like to play 'doctor' with you. You continue with your survey, glancing at Ana's closet located next to her toy chest. You wonder what kind of clothes she has in there. Maybe you should play 'dress up' with her. Finally your eyes return to Ana, and you give her your reply. "Let's play..."
