You know? Unlike most of your comments, I have actually rolled this exact thought over in my head several times. I am currently playing it that she is unsure of Xander's actual age, but isn't asking because she kinda doesn't want to know. Her getting a familial love score with him, on the routes where this happens, indicate she is starting to lean "under-age," and thus the reason she starts to think of him as her own child (reflected in it becoming easier for her to permit sex with her children but harder for her to allow it with herself.) Haven't quite figured out yet what her exact reaction to finding out for certain after she has already had sex with him would be though.
