That would be a form of mind control as it controls conscious actions as opposed to autonomic functions.  Psychometabolics is controlling things that are usually more or less outside of one's conscious control like heart rate, adrenaline production, orgasm (almost no one can will themselves to orgasm), etc.  I personally don't like to apply the -kinesis suffix to anything that isn't primarily physical vice mental, and controlling the nervous system is closer to the later than the former in my mind.  Just my 2 cents on "Neuralkinesis".  --[[User:Elerneron|Elerneron]] ([[User talk:Elerneron|talk]]) 18:07, 3 November 2016 (CET)

Added psychometabolics, the ability to control the natural functions of your own body or another person's body using psionic power. Jemini (talk) 08:38, 3 November 2016 (CET)

I always considered psychometabolics as a subset of telepathy as it would entail altering the signals going to the body from the brain. --Elerneron (talk) 10:06, 3 November 2016 (CET)

That's a pretty interesting way of looking at it. I can see that, but I think it may be better to list them as separate categories or else most people may not realize that sort of thing is possible. Jemini (talk) 10:56, 3 November 2016 (CET)

Well, I gave these things their own pages so we could get as specific as we need to without overwhelming the page too much. We could provide a breakdown of each use of each available power and their effects at Psionic level. With how comprehensive we've been elsewhere, that would make sense. Edit: I put up an couple of examples to demonstrate what I was thinking. --Elerneron (talk) 11:42, 3 November 2016 (CET)
