I hadn't considered it, but logically that would be the case.  No risk = no reward.  That could complicate things though.  A player could feel that they are being penalized for using the reward system . . . but the other option is a broken, overpowered game element (the points you could accumulate for walking around naked all the time would be tremendous).  I'm open to further discussion on the topic.  --Elerneron (talk) 00:09, 18 October 2016 (CEST)

Maybe only reward points for interacting with people with those settings on? Or turn that reward off long enough to earn points but back on to avoid consequenses? Or maybe only a fraction of the eligable points gets awarded with the perk on? I've seen games where you can't earn XP if "god mode" is activated but o have to admit the public nudity route to amass reward points did occur to me. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 00:15, 18 October 2016 (CEST)

My suggestion would be to make it so that the rewards system raises the threshold for what can be considered a reward. Using the public nudity example, you can only earn the reward once per day with the cheat on, once per encounter or change of location with the cheat off. He met Jimmy and Billy. How many points for that? --Notsooldpervert (talk) 21:39, 17 October 2016 (CEST)

Like I said on this talk page he already knew Jimmy, but not well enough to remember his name; and he considers Billy a non-entity. My opinion is that he has not had sufficient interaction with Billy to merit points for meeting him, but he might. If Jemini feels that Billy merits a card at this time I'm fine with the points being awarded; otherwise they should not be. Jimmy defiantly doesn't qualify for the points as he is defiantly not worth a card at this time. A more involved interaction with the kid that would merit making a card for him would allow for the points to be awarded even though Xander knew him before. Either way, we're only talking about 5 points per person Xander meets in a significant way. If we gave Xander (or the game Life gave Players) points for everyone he encountered at all it would be OP. We all meet people that we don't give any thought to all the time. These people don't count (unless they later track us down and MAKE us pay attention to them which would award the points at that time.) --Elerneron (talk) 23:48, 17 October 2016 (CEST)

Thanks for the clarification. So does that mean that if he bought the reward so people ignore him committing minor crimes and he started going naked everywhere it wouldn't build points for flashing people? --Notsooldpervert (talk) 23:58, 17 October 2016 (CEST)
