Talk:Life Hacks/Xandergod(Rosemance)/More information, learn the sexual history of everyone in the Holiday family
Sorry, i couldn't pick one lol --Notsooldpervert (talk) 01:46, 24 February 2017 (CET)
FYI: My usual response to a vote like that is actually to drop that line for a wile. A good long while actually. Split votes by the same person have a weird way of actually making my brain overload and then freeze, it actually kills my creative spark. It's nothing punishing or vendictive toward making the person stop doing that, it actually messes me up when you do that. Same goes for the multiple votes on the line with Billie after you got Loki's help BTW. It seems to happen when there are multiple votes for similar options by the same person. So, actually, it would help me out a lot if you actually could eliminate 2 of your votes both on this leg and also back on the one with Billie. Jemini (talk) 02:12, 24 February 2017 (CET)
Well in that case... --Notsooldpervert (talk) 02:51, 24 February 2017 (CET)
The reason I picked this one is because I think it fits in the "playing it safe" thing for him --No-one (talk) 16:15, 24 February 2017 (CET)
I hadn't originally intended that information be transmitted into the user's mind with Black Hack. If you will recall, Black Rose still used her UI to see information. I've been thinking about the situation since reading this entry. It may be that Black Hack interacts with Xander in a unique fashion since he is just code as far as the hack is concerned. It actually makes sense if you think about it. If that is so, Rose would definitely notice the first time she sees him use hacks. I'm totally up for information just springing to his mind, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that this isn't how the hack works for other people. --Elerneron (talk) 12:58, 24 February 2017 (CET)
Yeah, that's kind of how I envisioned it as well. It is just interacting with Xandere in a unique way. The read-out from the logs is simply being added to the code of what he knows and doesn't know since he is part of the code himself. Mostly though, this is the sort of thing that he was only able to do because Black Rose did not give him any instructions. He had no reason to believe it wouldn't be possible, so he just did it. If someone placed a mental limit on him by telling him it doesn't work that way, he probably would just bring it up on a UI until some course of events allowed him to dismiss that mental block and try this method instead. Is he going to pull a Neo and start seeing everything as bits of code? There is no spoon --Notsooldpervert (talk) 01:08, 25 February 2017 (CET)
