I'd like some feedback on the Holiday family. What does everyone think? --Elerneron (talk) 21:45, 24 October 2016 (CEST)
Funny idea, not really sure how one would work it into the story though. Maybe they're on a commune somewhere? At any rate, it is not easy figuring up personalities for everyone, so if you want to do this then you are the one to come up with all that stuff. Jemini (talk) 22:12, 24 October 2016 (CEST)
Wow, that's a big family. Maybe they can come into play later when Xander gains a bit of a rep as a "ladies man" and mom and dad want a head start on grandkids. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 22:35, 24 October 2016 (CEST)
Yeah, not quite as big as the Duggars . . . but still huge. The idea sort of came from watching a bunch of The Loud House recently and the fact that so many months are used as people's names (April, May, June, August), shortening to normal names (JANuary), or shortening to sound similar to normal names (Febby=Phoebe, March=Marsh, July=Julie -which could actually be a pet name for someone named July-, Octo=Auto, Nove=Nova, Decy=Desi), along with two of the seasons being common names for people (Summer and Autumn) and one being normal but uncommon (Spring). That just leaves the relatively cumbersome names (Winter and September). Edit: and Halloween/Hally because I wanted them to have run out of names. On top of that I gave them middle names alphabetically. The question is: Do you think it is worth adding to the story, or is it too much? --Elerneron (talk) 01:05, 25 October 2016 (CEST)
Like Jemini said, it's a little cumbersome this early in the story; he's already got his sisters and Trish's family (drawing a blank on their last name), and Officer Mary, and possibly Billie (though I think it would be a just reward to turn Hank into Henrietta lol). I can help with character development if you want to add them in later, but i think it works best after his rep starts to go up. Maybe one of the Junior Holidays knows that mom and dad wanted even more kids but she can't have any more so they recruit Xander to knock up as many of the girls as he can. Maybe it can be one of the boys who is one of Xander's few friends? --Notsooldpervert (talk) 02:52, 25 October 2016 (CEST)
So, my ideas if we actually do go with this. 1. They have some form of secluded house. 2. this is an option, but it might actually be realistic to have the youngest 3 to 8 children all be paternal triplets-octuplits. Reason being after they had so many children they started having reproductive problems so they used artificial insemination. Since they inseminate and implant multiple eggs with artificial insemination, assuming there are going to be implantation failures resulting in miscarriages with artificial insemination which there absolutely always are, it is more the norm than the exception to have paternal twins and triplets as a result, and rare cases do occasionally produce as many as 8 children. Of course, this is the youngest because the assumption is this finishes off the mother's reproductive capabilities. Jemini (talk) 09:06, 25 October 2016 (CEST)
Also, at Notsooldpervert, since they are Catholic it is highly unlikely they would recruit Xander as you say. It is actually incredibly normal for Catholics to want large families, it is not at all unusual to see a catholic family with around 5 children. The Catholic motto is to disapprove of all sex outside of marriage, but STRORONGLY encourage sex within marriage. And also, discourage birth control. Therefore, they may very well like the idea of Xander getting involved with ONE of their daughters similar in age to him, but they would actively discourage him having sex with her (or insist on him getting married if they found out he was,) and very much not approve of him going after multiple daughters. That's just the standard for Catholics though. They don't necessarily have to be standard. Jemini (talk) 09:14, 25 October 2016 (CEST)
It's also quite possible that multiple births run in their families; 15 kids would be hard on anyone's uterus. I know ladies with more than 5 and they started having problems after 3 or 4. As for the Catholic thing... maybe they're not that devout, but that's also why I suggested one of the brothers reqruiting him instead of the parents. It's not uncommon at all for children to be less devout than the parents (usually seeming in inverse proportion to the parents sometimes). They don't necessarily live in a commune, but it would have to be an older larger house on the outskirts (unless dad makes a LOT of money). --Notsooldpervert (talk) 15:01, 25 October 2016 (CEST)
I don't think the route of artificial insemination is the way that I want to go with this personally. It may be uncommon, but it is not unheard of for a woman to have so many children without artificial embryo implantation. I'm okay with having the mother's uterus have finally failed after the birth of Hally. (Xander can always use the duck to change that if the reader wants him to.) As far as their house goes, I'm thinking they either had one built, live in a mansion, or (my favorite) re-purposed a building designed for something else (apartment complex, office building, old monastery, old library, etc.). The old library is calling to me for some reason, maybe due to the decline of the library with the advent of the internet and e-books. --Elerneron (talk) 19:29, 25 October 2016 (CEST)
Well I added a history for the Holidays, and found pictures of all of the Holiday kids. What do you guys think? The history sound good? Are there any pictures that you think should be replaced? --Elerneron (talk) 13:13, 26 October 2016 (CEST)
Maybe the pool scenario i like so much could be used on the Holiday family? Knock them all up in one go, with no one being the wiser. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 15:50, 26 October 2016 (CEST)
Immaculate conception of a whole family? What's a good Catholic Family to think? LOL --Elerneron (talk) 23:06, 26 October 2016 (CEST)
Okay, all pictures of the Holiday family chosen and uploaded . . . so that's done. I guess they can sit there until they are needed at this point. --Elerneron (talk) 01:32, 27 October 2016 (CEST)

Thank you and fixed. Jemini (talk) 18:18, 30 October 2016 (CET)
Thought of a way to make the basic overview of the character's sexual resistances easier to understand. Instead of giving the variance for the largest positive and largest negative modifier as before, I am giving the required score in the pertinent stat that would be required to have vaginal/anal sex with and ejaculate inside of this individual. Also, I modified the score requirements to say that if a girl has no concept of sex her base requirement is 70 for vaginal intercourse. Might take a while to update everything. Jemini (talk) 18:42, 30 October 2016 (CET)
I just had a thought related to the page I am writing right now. What is Xander's favorite food? I think Brittany might want to make it for him as something of a hero's welcome after hearing about him and Roni's encounter at the park. Jemini (talk) 20:29, 30 October 2016 (CET)
Lasagna --Notsooldpervert (talk) 20:45, 30 October 2016 (CET)
I'm fine with the person writing such things to decide what they are. I don't have an opinion on the subject really. I will note that a person's favorite food and favorite home-cooked food can be very different. For instance my favorite food is thin crust pizza with the works (which thankfully doesn't include anchovies), but it has to be from a skilled pizza-centric restaurant like Pizza Hut or Papa John's. I don't like the pizza they make at fancy restaurants, or that you can make at home nearly as well. My favorite home cooked food is a rare steak, preferably a medium cut like a sirloin (as the tougher cuts have more flavor, but the tender cuts are more tender). Add some steak fries and a nice salad with crouton's, bacon bit (artificial only please), and a good Italian dressing and you have my favorite home-cooked meal. --Elerneron (talk) 23:16, 30 October 2016 (CET)
I just realized something. I have just about every single one of the Holliday family figured out well enough that I can put them somewhere that would be typical of their character for when Xander gets there, except for 2, and that would be the twins. I have no idea what to do with the twins because I haven't really developed their character at all. Anyone want to lend a hand on that one? Jemini (talk) 09:22, 10 November 2016 (CET)
Okay, I came up with something that should be interesting for the twins. Their is actually some anecdotal evidence to suggest that some twins might be connected psychically, so I'm making that an exception to the psionic level currently active (as in NOT active) in Life. If Xander later activates psionics this ability (actually abilities one telepathic and the other extrasensory) would intensify for the girls; and they would likely be able to develop even more abilities. --Elerneron (talk) 10:11, 11 November 2016 (CET)
