Talk:Life Hacks/Hallomod(tod-pre-Cora)/Load up, everyone is going
As the next passage I will be writing will involve Loki (actually potentially the next few passages) does anyone have any questions that they feel that Xander may have thought up in the short span of time since he last saw Loki? --Elerneron (talk) 17:46, 24 December 2016 (CET)
The only question I can think of is the one that would have come up (and I basically created the answer to) in the route I'm writing. That being, what happens to a lifie that I move or manipulate while time is stopped? I am not really sure if he would think of that on this route though. Jemini (talk) 04:46, 25 December 2016 (CET)
I had several questions on your chat page, the only other one is how big of an area gets paused, or is it affecting Xandwr's subjective time. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 20:35, 26 December 2016 (CET)
Copied and pasted from your Chit-chat (some of these have been answered)
Questions for Loki: is there any way to keep people from noticing when you use the duck other than stopping time or the privacy settings you don't have? (Basically a lead in to give you one or both options) Is there a way to select multiple people for modification at the same time? Is there a way to record someone's settings so you can change them back later without having to memorize every stat? Is there a way to select a target that you don't have line of sight with? (Would be very useful for modifying Hank and Billie without seeing them first) How to hide the duck when you're naked (like the shower scenes and Trish took your clothes) --Notsooldpervert (talk) 20:44, 26 December 2016 (CET)
I don't think it is just some of these that have been answered by my interpretation. I actually think all of these questions were given more or less satisfactory addressing. Actually, if I were to write up the Loki post, I am not sure what I would do to address any of them better than they already have been, and I would imagine it might be the same for Elerneron. So, it might be helpful if you could point out witch ones in particular you don't feel were that well addressed. Jemini (talk) 21:14, 26 December 2016 (CET)

Sorry Notsooldpervert, I didn't explain the nature of Time Dilation since I understand Time Dilation. Sometimes my understanding of a subject causes me to under-explain the subject. I'll try to work an explanation into the text somewhere. Basically time dilation alters actual space-time. Players (in close proximity to the affecting player) are not subject to the effects of the mods time dilation in sync with the rest of the universe by design. By its very nature time dilation only affects a portion of space-time in real life, but the mod makes the effect universal. The two instances we know of that cause time dilation are black holes and near-luminal speeds. The first causes the space-time of the affected area to become compressed, effectively slowing down the time in an affected area to the outside observer (objects in the area appear to slow down, and ultimately stop entirely the closer they get to the singularity of a black hole). The second is the phenomenon that causes time to pass slower as you get closer to the speed of light. This would make it appear to the outside observer as though the affected area was zipping through time at an accelerated rate while the affected area remain relatively unchanged. Theoretically if one could somehow break the universal speed limit of the Speed of Light, one would be moving backward in time (but all theories so far say that this is impossible). It's all physics. Note that both of these cause the same effect. To get the opposite, you just change who the affected party is (players or the game universe). --Elerneron (talk) 00:12, 27 December 2016 (CET)
Well there you go, then. I remember having another question at the time, but now I've forgotten it lol --Notsooldpervert (talk) 02:14, 27 December 2016 (CET)
