Talk:Life Hacks/Mods Guide/Adjust Local Settings
I changed my mind. Let's wait for the privacy mode lol.. seriously, is Loki going to leave Xander access to all of that, or limit him to the time dilation? --Notsooldpervert (talk) 06:31, 3 November 2016 (CET)
Loki would have to hack the hack, as he didn't create Life Controller it would probably take him as long to limit it to time dilation as it would for him to enable Privacy Mode. LOL. --Elerneron (talk) 06:37, 3 November 2016 (CET)
Since he has every skill maxed out, does that mean he'll automatically have every power if the super powers are turned on? --Notsooldpervert (talk) 06:40, 3 November 2016 (CET)
After altering the world settings he would have to give himself the appropriate traits that allows him to use those skills first (you can't have flight skill unless you can fly), then he'd have to max his skills again. Same for magic and psionics. --Elerneron (talk) 06:48, 3 November 2016 (CET)
Well, if I understand this correctly, a pretty simple and effective way Loki has to limit Xander to only time dilation is to have control of the local area before Xander can claim it. Then Xander can't add any powers to the area, only Loki could do that. The only way Xander would be able to access them is by leaving the area and claiming an adjacent area. That is very true, but it would require Loki to surrender any currently claimed local area that he has (and let's face it he is bound to already have one). Edit: actually that is probably still the best way to go, and it also opens Xander to building and creating items at will, but is not so OP as just giving him the mod unchecked. --Elerneron (talk) 10:10, 3 November 2016 (CET)
Who says it isn't THIS area that he already had? It would make a fair amount of sense that he would choose someone for this experiment of his from his own claimed territory. He could own this area from before the story even started. Jemini (talk) 11:00, 3 November 2016 (CET)
