Jemini is correct, plants in the "''Hedera''" family (like English Ivy), vining varieties of the "''Solanum''" family (sweet potatoe vine), the "''Portulaca''" family (Purslane and Rose Moss) and members of the ''"<font color=Red>Toxic</font>ohedron''" family (Poison Ivy, Oak and Sumac) all have distinctly different foliage.
While it might be difficult for a person to differentiate between common ivy, Potatoe Vines and other creepers, the "poisonous three" look '''very''' different. --[[User:MrPib|MrPib]] ([[User talk:MrPib|talk]]) 07:13, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

While you're at it, might want to double check the ivy she squatted in wasn't poisonous. Be a shame to get a rash on your dick from contact with her. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 02:44, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

"Poison Ivy" does, indeed, have the word "Ivy" in it's name, but it looks very distinctive and different from normal Ivy. Xander would have been able to notice something like that in an instant just sweeping his gaze around. This is the common Ivy that grows across forest floors.

Poison Ivy, unlike regular Ivy, does not grow as long creeping vines or grow as a carpet. It's individual stalks that grow up. If you're comparing Poison Ivy with regular Ivy, there's no chance you'll ever get the two confused, because they just look completely different. The only difficulty one would have with recognizing poison Ivy is just telling it apart from any other common plant.

Jemini is correct, plants in the "Hedera" family (like English Ivy), vining varieties of the "Solanum" family (sweet potatoe vine), the "Portulaca" family (Purslane and Rose Moss) and members of the "Toxicohedron" family (Poison Ivy, Oak and Sumac) all have distinctly different foliage.

While it might be difficult for a person to differentiate between common ivy, Potatoe Vines and other creepers, the "poisonous three" look very different. --MrPib (talk) 07:13, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
