Talk:Life Hacks/Notes on Inga's personality

I found the write-up areas we had so far for characters to be wowefully incomplete in that we only had a brief overview of their non-sexual history and most of the details were on things specifically pertaining to sex with Xander. Makes some sense for a sex story, but since this thing is getting pretty deep on the characterization, and readily facilitates breaking down every aspect of personal relations and personality with a few simple metrics, it just doesn't make sense not to have something like this for each character.

I might write one or two for some character some time when I'm bored, mostly following this format. Start of stats relationship with Xander is always identical to Xander's relationship card for them at the start of the story. The exception is characters like Trish and Mary who he didn't know. I haven't quite decided what to do with those yet. (Maybe stats for their relationship scores with him after the easiest to establish acquaintanceship has happened.) Made a modified person template especially for this. I wrapped it in a flexible div to line things up side by side to save space. We can even make three rows if you think that would fit on most people's screens. --Elerneron (talk) 22:32, 31 October 2016 (CET)

I was just thinking we might need something like this. I actually kind of wanted to do a simple fix solution my self by expanding the new template horizontally for the sake of experimenting with the code for myself, but this looks a lot nicer than what I would have done. Anyway, as for a 3rd column, I could probably do something with a 3rd column as in I could find information to fill it with (likely short additional notes and information about their sexual relations with people other than Xander,) but the question is whether or not that information is actually necessary or if it will just needlessly crowd things. And yes, the question of if it will fit everyone's screen is definitely a good one. (I have a wide screen myself.) Jemini (talk) 23:35, 31 October 2016 (CET)
