I guess I should clarify my question. Rape Shield downgrades rape to consensual sex for all observers. Does Rape Fantasyland not downgrade rape to consensual sex for the victim once the rape is over? An example; Xander could rape Trish (with no forgiving cheat) and afterward she would see it as purely consensual and fun. She might still be embarrassed about having sex in public, but the sex itself wouldn't seem a big deal besides some harmless fun. It might also boost her relationship scores with Xander if he makes her cum a lot. The part that might make Trish mad is if Xander got her pregnant but she would be mollified somewhat by the fact that the sex was "consensual". The forgiving cheat by itself would make Charity forgive Xander for raping her even if he did it every day for the rest of her life. She might not like getting raped but act itself would be forgiven. Xander could also steal from her or physically abuse her and still be forgiven afterward.  So in my mind, the main use of the forgiving cheat would be for when Xander impregnates someone, especially family members. Due to all of his passes main recrimination will not be "you shouldn't have had sex with them" but "you should have used protection" [[User:Quiller|Quiller]] ([[User talk:Quiller|talk]]) 17:51, 28 January 2018 (CET)

Because I just know the question is going to come up, I figure I will pre-emptively answer it. The "roses" in the title refers to the phrase "falling in the shit heap and coming up smelling of roses." In other words, he rapes Charity and she both forgives him and likes him for it. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't Xander only need Forgiving for Charity and Roni and then Sensory range Rape Fantasyland? The Fantasyland cheat seems to have a rape specific forgiveness built in. A family only Forgiving would also make Xander's mom forgive his eventual impregnation of all of his sisters. It would also grant more points to spend on "Fun" cheats. Quiller (talk) 16:38, 27 January 2018 (CET)
