Yes, Ravencrone is kinda underrated, (I have no strong opinion of Benor personally,) and cut content, in general, feels like a problem with the base game. So many missed opportunities, like the Great Collapse, the Silver Hand, and whatever the fuck's up with Rorikstead's soil. At the same time, I feel like Bethesda likes having these characters and storylines where the player isn't told everything, and stuff is left for us to figure out... I guess it works in some areas too.

Regarding the plot point you mentioned, it's funny because I didn't even intend to include it to begin with, and I'm still unsure where to go with it... But since it is part of the story now, I kinda have to stick with it!
