Writing Contest 2024/II - Winner vote

(Apologies for the delay in getting this crossposted to ATF Stories. Real life is keeping me busy.)

Welcome to the 2024-II ATF Story Writing Contest, the third edition of this contest at All The Fallen!

For this round, the official writing prompt, determined by majority vote, was:
Time Travel
A character from one moment in time travels to another. This can be traveling into the past or the future by any means, deliberately or accidentally.

There are a total of fourteen entries in this contest. So lots of good stuff to read! And I hope all of you will do so, and then cast your votes on all of the stories that you like the best!

Take your time to check them out. Ideally, read them all - though of course, if the tags indicate content you will really dislike, you can skip that story. The poll is multiple choice, so you don't have to pick a single "best story". You can vote for all stories you consider worthy of a vote (based on whatever you want to use as voting criteria). However, do keep in mind that votes cast are final! You can't go back and change your vote later.
IMPORTANT: If a writer shared their story with you, to collect feedback, to bounce off ideas, or for any other reason, you are NOT allowed to vote for that story. However, competing writers are allowed to vote for their own story.

Please keep in mind that all competing writers will see and (hopefully) enjoy all comments - so do consider leaving a bit of feedback to the stories you read!
Please be respectful to the writers who submitted. Do not vote before you have checked all the stories. And when you vote, base your vote on the stories, not on who you think wrote them.

The poll runs for three weeks, to give everyone ample time to read all submissions before voting.
Responses in that thread, with explanations of your votes and/or extensive feedback are of course welcome! Constructive feedback is also highly encouraged.
Finally, it is allowed to speculate about the identity of the anonymous writers, but if you for whatever reason have or gain actual knowledge of a writer's identity, then please do not share this information!
