It's almost funny how she thinks keeping them ignorant is "preserving their purity" and preventing pregnancy. It should be pointed out to her that not only is the drug illegal, it defeats the purpose of the punishment if the kids aren't aware of it. The whole point of bringing in the sisters is to ''their'' behavior towards Elias drives home to ''him'' how wrong what he did was. I can see MC either raiding Mr. Granville's liquor cabinet and venting to Dr Hartnell and Maria. OR he goes to the brothel and orders something strong and vents there.
