Any sane person (even a pedo) can see how wrong this is, a mother is not only allowing you to knock up both her daughters, but she's also suggesting drugging them.

I can see MC either raiding Mr. Granville's liquor cabinet and venting to Dr Hartnell and Maria. OR he goes to the brothel and orders something strong and vents there.

Both scenarios are "i knew this town was messed up, but not THIS fucked up." (Proceeds to explain what Mrs. Banko said, and if he's at the brothel, Sonia's situation) --MrPib (talk) 21:24, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

It's almost funny how she thinks keeping them ignorant is "preserving their purity" and preventing pregnancy. It should be pointed out to her that not only is the drug illegal, it defeats the purpose of the punishment if the kids aren't aware of it. The whole point of bringing in the sisters is to their behavior towards Elias drives home to him how wrong what he did was. I know the next page is already written, but the drugs have to come off the table. Point out that it wouldn't prevent pregnancy anyway, and the only way to do that is to reduce the number of injections they get. The only way to do that, is for Elias to give them to his mother. She can take whatever precautions against pregnancy she deems necessary for herself, but don't tell the MC about it or those won't count, since the risk is part of the punishment as well. --Notsooldpervert (talk) 22:38, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

Actually, I looked it up. Rohypnol is considered a controlled substance, but it's in the same class as opiates. It was originally developed as a sleeping medicine, and it can still be perscribed for that purpose even in the US. Although, the fact it got a bad rap in the US as a date-rape drug certainly in it becoming a scheduled substance, that was actually more paranoia than anything as there are less than 5 confirmed cases of it ever being used in a date-rape. The real reason it got brought up for controlled substance scheduling though is because it was considered a suicide drug. I am sure you have heard of people overdosing on sleeping pills. Well, Rohypnol is especially deadly in an overdose, and this is something that was actually known back in the 80s. It's just the legacy of the date-rape paranoia of the 90s that is the reason it is well known for that instead of what it was really used for. Jemini (talk) 22:55, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
