I wanted to show his compassionate side, since so many of the other sexual encounters, especially the first work, were more aggressive. I got the idea for the dildo from other stories I read where the author had the girl become distracted by the pleasure of her orgasm and so did not feel the pain of the loss of her virginity. That is almost impossible with the natural method. The other part was due to her young age, having regular sex with her without preparation would damage her more that should be acceptable. Actually I don't think it is out of character for John. From most of his actions he has shown that he is caring and compassionate with most of the girls, the only ones he has gotten rough with have been the ones who were bitches to start with. He was only rough as long as he needed to be, once they stopped being bitches he was more gentile. Since Melisa is a sweet little four year old, he would have more reason to want to ensure her first time was pleasant, so she will be more willing and participate more in future sessions. Its not the Hymen that makes the breaking in of a virgin, its the first time they have sex. An interesting curiosity about my spontaneous writing style is that most of it is really subconscious. I don't have a particularly firm idea of the character's personality, motivation, or preferences on a conscious level at least, it is more like the character just speaks to me as I am writing. That said, when I read this section it seems exactly in line with John's character and I cannot see myself writing it any different if I were the one to write this section. Jemini, I wright the same way too, I tend to sit down and write something, the characters personality comes out as I write. Though in the case of interactives, like this one, I do take past actions into account. It is only when I try and edit that I look at things, and go "Would this character do this." The only time I build stuff in advance is when I have long term goals, and then only what that goal is going to be and a general Idea on how to get there. Like the part I picked up with the McGregors. If the long term goal ends up not fitting with the character personalities that develop, the goal has to change. I agree this is perfectly in line with John's character, and I have no desire to change it. I do want to mention that in several cultures, and most certainly in this town, a girl's value is heavily influenced by her virginity; and just like in most of those cultures, the town's definition of "virginity" emphasizes a lot the presence of the hymen. Now, in reality, hymens as proof of virginity are a myth, but that didn't stop men from claiming them (most likely because most men could not distinguish a hymen if it hit them), so while most cheerleaders will indeed have ruptured their hymens, it's very likely that John will still refer to them when he takes them, since he's been raised in that culture and doesn't have any medical training. --Tod Naturlich (talk) 04:50, 5 January 2018 (CET)

Mrs. Varanno's actions don't really match her earlier attitude. I say on Meredith's turn, encourage her to stand closer for a better view. Then when she's really into it, and cheering you on, tell her to imagine it's her daughter, Gabrielle.
