You decide to take a closer look at the statue. It is marble, and depicts the perfection of feminine beauty, in the form of some kind of demonic woman, complete with with wings and horns.
As you approach the statue, wondering what kind of magic enchants it, you are suddenly horrified as it begins to move, in a juddering and completely unnatural way. It moves in jerks and instantaneously, as though it doesn’t need to exist in between one place and another. You try to raise you wand but it is on you in an instant, seizing your wrist in its cold stone hands with inhuman strength.
“WHO ARE YOU?” It demands in a voice like a mountain, but entirely in your mind.
“I’m Emily!” You think as it’s telepathy blasts straight through your Occlumens, your only actual words being a shriek of surprise, “I’m Emily Lestrange, let me go!”
“YOUR BODY IS EMILY,” the statues voice grinds in your mind, “BUT YOUR SOUL IS MOSAIC. WHOSE SOUL POSSESSES THIS YOUNG VIRGIN?”
