The Last Horcrux/Lestrange Manor/Talk to the Guardian Statue Concealed

Having read The Fragmented Soul, you think you know how the statue detected your possession of Emily’s body last night. Confidently, you step toward the statue.

“MISTRESS EMILY,” the statues voice grinds away inside your mind, “I CANNOT DETECT THE SOUL OF VOLDEMORT. HAVE YOU CAST OFF THE POSSESSION?”

“Would you treat me differently if I had?” You ask it.

The statue is silent for a moment, and then speaks again in your mind.

“NO, BUT I MUST KNOW WHO IS MY MASTER.”

You smile, and decide to continue to be truthful with the statue, as this possibly saved your life last night.

“I am Lord Voldemort, also known as a the Dark Lord and He Who Must Not Be Named. I am possessing the body of Emily Lestrange. I have merely concealed my soul fragment with magic. Will you let me enter?”

That statue remains motionless, but you get the sense that it is observing you with its cold stone eyes.

The statue would no doubt stand there for millennia if it was not commanded to move

“I SERVE THE LESTRANGE FAMILY, AND THE LESTRANGE FAMILY SERVES LORD VOLDEMORT,” the thing’s voice grinds in your mind like metal on stone, “BOTH OF YOU ARE MY MASTER.”

It then steps aside, moving in the horrible staccato slither of appearing and disappearing faster than you can blink, as though it were not really moving, but was a succession of different statues instead.

“It is you I wish to speak to,” you say, addressing the statue. “How should I address you?”

“I AM THE LESTRANGE FAMILY GUARDIAN. I HAVE NO NAME. YOU MAY ADDRESS ME AS YOU WISH.”

“Could you…” you say, flinching slightly at its inhuman telepathic voice, “change form into something less, intimidating while we talk?”

The statue is motionless, and then flows into a female form, gradually becoming a version of Bellatrix Lestrange, several years younger than the one that you know.

“Does this form please you master?” the statue says in Bella’s voice. Her body is flawless, but there is an emptiness in her eyes that betrays her lack of humanity.

Despite the statue not really being Bellatrix, you can feel your body reacting to the imitation of her naked aunt. A flutter of excitement in your heart is accompanied tingle in you nipples and between your legs. Your naked aunt could have you wet and begging for sex in seconds if she wanted to.

You try to push your girlish lust aside and focus on what you wanted to ask the statue.

“I will call you Guardian,” you say, trying to ignore how wet you are becoming. “Do you promise to serve me, to answer my questions truthfully, and to never act violently toward me again?”

The Bellatrix thing steps forward, making you half flinch away, but she does so laviciously rather than threateningly.

“I do master. I do mistress. I promise to serve you, and to always be truthful, and never to harm you physically.”

“Good,” you say, taking a hold of your emotions. “I have several questions for you.”

The Bellatrix thing nods.

“How did you detect my soul?” You ask, “that is, the soul of Lord Voldemort. I had concealed

“Who made you?” You ask the statue.

“Sofia Lestrange asked me this same question. Memories of my creator were destroyed when the original Pensieve was destroyed. When Sofia Lestrange married Rabastan and made her own Pensieve, she reactivated me. Sofia believed that I was made long ago to serve the Lestrange family, but she could find no record of my original creator. Sofia thought that I may have been made by one of Rabastan’s ancestors who lost his wife, in order to have a way to remember her. All of my memories are held within the Pensieve. If it is destroyed, I cannot access them. If memories are removed, I cannot access them. I can an remember having a similar conversation with Sofia Lestrange because the memory of that conversation is held within its waters.”

“Can you take on any form?” You ask it.

“I can take on any form that is contained within the memories within the Pensieve. You may place new memories within it is you wish.”

“What spells do you know?”

“I know all that is placed within the Pensieve. There are many memories of magic within it. I know and can use most of those incantations.”

“You said most incantations? What spells can’t you use?”

“I can use most spells that utilise prime and matter, but cannot use spells that require the caster to have life force or spirit, as I am neither alive, nor do I have a soul. I can kill, defend, or give pleasure, but I cannot create life, as I am neither man nor woman. Nor can I generate sexual energies, although I can provide pleasure.”

“Can you come with me to Hogwarts, to continue to defend and serve me?”

“I can do that if you give me permission to leave this chamber.”

“I give you that permission,” you say.

The Bellatrix thing walks out of the chamber and stops, turning toward you again.

“What else would you wish of me Mistress?”
